Arms & Armor Katzbalger Dagger

Original: c. 1560, Deutsches Klingen Museum, Solingen

The unique steel hilt consists of a figure eight shaped guard. The arms of the guard originate from dolphin heads and terminate in balls. The grip has four raised rings and is covered in leather. The flared pommel is met with decorative roping at its base.

Overall length: 12.5"
Width of guard: 3" x 2.5" oval
Blade: 8.5" long; 1.125" wide tapering to .5"
Grip and pommel: 3.5"

Has a black leather scabbard.
