Hanwei Pappenheimer Sword

Early 17th Century Europe

This ia factory-created prototype of this sword. The double clam shell fits among the swirled hilt and is perforated with diamond cutouts and lined in red suede. Also featured are recurved quillions, faceted wire bound grip, and an mushroom-shaped pommel.

Weight: 3.1 pounds
Width of guard: 9.5"
Blade: 36" long below guards; 1.125" wide tapering to .75"
Grip and pommel: 6.25"
Point of Balance (PoB): 3" from guard

Has leather-covered wooden scabbard.
