Kolombotavich Corsair Rapier
Late 16th Century Spain This utilitarian rapier boasts a severely pointed blade with twin fullers and a 2" long ricasso. All-steel hardware consists of straight quillions with decorative end buttons, oval-shaped pommel, three piece curved knucklebow, 2.5" upper port, 1.75" lower port, and 4" wide counter guards. The grip is wound with iron wire. Overall length: 45" Weight: 2.6 pounds Width of guard: 11" Blade: 36.5" long below finger rings; 1" wide tapering to .375" Fullers: 2 @ 17" long Grip and pommel: 5.25" Point of Balance (PoB): 2.5" from guard Center of Percussion (CoP): ~23" from guard Has black leather scabbard and companion parrying dagger.
